Property may be held by the Sutherlin Police Department for various reasons.

• -Found Property
• -Recovered Stolen Property
• -Property Seized as Evidence
• -Property Kept as Safekeeping

Property that is available for release can only be released by appointment.

The Property and Evidence Officer is not always available in the office, so if they are not in, please leave a message for a return call. On your message please include your name, a telephone number where you can be reached, and a case number or date/time of the incident, if possible.

Please make sure when leaving a message you speak slowly and your details are clear. The Property and Evidence Officer will be unable to call you back if they cannot understand the information provided. Also, please make sure your voicemail is set up and your voicemail is not full if you wish to receive a call back.
