NATURAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLANS (NHMPS) identify risks from natural hazards and develop actions and strategies to mitigate those risks. The current DOUGLAS COUNTY NHMP was completed in 2016. Douglas County Planning and Oregon Department of Land Conservation (DLCD) have convened the cities of Canyonville, Drain, Elkton, Glendale, Myrtle Creek, Oakland, Reedsport, Riddle, Roseburg, Sutherlin, Winston, and Yoncalla to update this multi-jurisdictional NHMP.
