construction.81x81  The State & Everett Street Improvement Project will begin on Monday, June 6th!  The Everett Street intersections at Calapooia and State will be closed during business hours.  The project's estimated completion time frame is around a month and a half from the start date.

Exciting News (1)Sutherlin Downtown Development Inc. (SDDI) and the City of Sutherlin are pleased to announce the Sutherlin's Oregon Main Street Organization has been awarded $199,835.75 grant funds by the Oregon Heritage, a division of Oregon Parks and Recreation Department with a $60,000 match from Urban Renewal District funds, totaling $259,835.75. splash pad3   The Splash Pad in Central Park is now open for the season!  Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  - 7 days a week!


NP Treatment Plant (4) - Copy   
 Nonpareil Water Treatment Plant (NPWTP) Construction Update
The main improvements to NPWTP will occur during the spring of 2023. However, Stettler Supply and Construction is scheduled to perform some minor updates starting May 2, 2022, during which time the NPWTP will Not be operational for a period of approximately one month. During the minor improvements Cooper Creek Water Treatment Plant will be the primary source for our community. The Contractor is planning to install the mechanical piping at the Raw Water Pump Station, as well as the static mixer and raw water flow meter. These are relatively minor improvements that should be completed in less than four weeks. No water curtailment is anticipated for these minor improvements

The Sutherlin-Oakland Emergency Food Pantry has a good supply of food for those in need.  Operating hours are Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00am. The pantry is located at 183 E First Avenue in Sutherlin. For inquiries please call (541) 459-4082.
