Book image with heart

Effective May 26, Sutherlin's C. Giles Hunt Public Library is open on a trial basis with restricted hours.  Our "open" days remain Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday but open hours are from 11 AM until 2 PM. We are limited to 20 patrons at a time and have three public computers available.  We will follow physical distancing protocol as our health authority recommends.  Because returning materials have been and will be disinfected and "quarantined" for a number of days, a limit of five items is now in place. Public and children's programs remain suspended for now and parents and others responsible for children will be required to closely monitor them at all times. As requirements change, we will provide more information about additions of programs and times. Please note the many new postings regarding our current operating requirements when visiting the library.  We are glad to be back!

Community RebootWho’s Ready to REBOOT SUTHERLIN!!!

From  Chamber Executive Director, Tracy Martz:   I am sure that you have all heard the news that Douglas County is allowed to enter Phase One in lifting the restrictions from the Covid-19 Closures. We are not out of the woods, of course, but we are all hoping that this is the beginning of getting business back to normal again.
At the Sutherlin Area Chamber of Commerce, we are launching a “Reboot Sutherlin” campaign. This will be a twofold campaign: First, run an advertisement in the News Review announcing Sutherlin is OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
Second, launching a “Community Cash” Gift Certificate Program that will infuse up to $10,000 into Sutherlin Area Businesses. Read more.....
