The City of Sutherlin currently is seeking a qualified landscape maintenance contractor. Click Here for proposal package. Deadline for submittal is 3:00 p.m. (PDT) on Friday, November 19, 2021. The proposal package can also be picked up at City Hall between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Sutherlin Police Department issued a Press Release on October 13, 2021 regarding a vehicle pursuit with an intoxicated driver that damaged two patrol vehicles, leaving one undrivable. Click Here to view full Press Release.
The Sutherlin City Council will be considering the second reading and adoption of an ordinance at the November 8th meeting to add language to the Sutherlin Municipal Code to include the "Tree City USA" program (Click here for the Enactment Notice, and the draft ordinance).
City Council will also be considering the first reading of 2 additional ordinances - Clark Property Management LLC, Plan Amendments and Zone Change (click here for the Enactment Notice and draft ordinance) and PacifiCorp Franchise Agreement (click here for the Enactment Notice and draft ordinance).

The Sutherlin-Oakland Emergency Food Pantry is now open and they have a good supply of food for those in need. Operating hours are Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00am. The pantry is located at 183 E First Avenue in Sutherlin. For inquiries please call (541) 459-4082.
