Splash Pad (NR Today)  The last day to enjoy the Splash Pad at Central Park will be October 1st. It will then be turned off for the winter months on October 2nd.

fords pond5   FORD'S POND - beginning 9/19/2023 the unpaved portion of Ford's Pond will be closed for approximately 1 week to allow for the mitigation work to begin.

under-construction-sign  Ford's Pond Community Park - Construction for Project II at Ford's Pond will start June 5, 2023 with an anticipated completion date of November 15, 2023. Due to construction the Church Rd parking lot will be closed 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The existing parking lot located on Hwy 138W will be open with limited access to the current paved path. 
Please be courteous and respectful of all construction activity.

Sutherlin City Council awarded the bid for Ford's Pond Park & Trail Improvements project to JRT Construction, LLC.  This Phase II project will include: ADA accessible path completion, wetland enhancement, 4 ADA accessible gender neutral restrooms, 3 pavilions, inclusive playground, RV/overflow parking area, sidewalks, landscaping, site furnishings, security cameras, and signage.

The Sutherlin-Oakland Emergency Food Pantry has a good supply of food for those in need.  Operating hours are Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00am. The pantry is located at 183 E First Avenue in Sutherlin. For inquiries please call (541) 459-4082.
