The City of Sutherlin is looking for volunteers!! The Budget Committee has 3 vacancies to fill! There are 2 seats with terms ending on December 31, 2022 and the other seat has a term ending on December 31, 2021. A series of meetings (2-3) are scheduled each spring to review and approve the budget document for the upcoming fiscal year. Attention: There will be no trespassing on the Ford's Pond Construction Site! During the construction project at Ford's Pond the parking area will be closed for public use from August 10, 2020 through December 2020. Access and parking is available off of Hwy 138W (west of intersection of Church Road and Hwy 138W). Please be respectful, courteous, and cautious of the construction crew. The Sutherlin-Oakland Emergency Food Pantry is now open and they have a good supply of food for those in need. Operating hours are Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00am. The pantry is located at 183 E First Avenue in Sutherlin. For inquiries please call (541) 459-4082.
